A telephone call from a parent or guardian must be made to the office each day a student is absent. Parents may call the attendance office and leave a message at 507-494-1500 twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. Written excuses will be accepted. The WSHS Pre Approved Absence Form needs to be filled out if your student will be missing five (5) or more days of school. Students will have two days (2) to resolve absences after returning to school. Unexcused absences will remain if not resolved in the two day window.
