Public health experts are asking us to remind our families to continue to do their part in flattening the curve and keeping our community healthy by following social distancing guidelines and avoiding often-touched surfaces, like public playgrounds.
Schoology is experiencing performance issues due to heavy user load. This is to be expected as more schools transition to distance learning.
The transition to distance learning will require patience, understanding and teamwork for all involved. We understand there were some questions and concerns from our families on the first day of distance learning. We hope these resources can address some of those issues.

Earlier today, Gov. Tim Walz announced that all schools in Minnesota, including Winona Area Public Schools, will remain closed through Monday, May 4 as part of the state’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. However, daily instruction will resume. For the past two weeks, teachers and staff have been preparing to institute distance learning plans at each grade level, and those lessons will begin Tuesday, March 31. Monday, March 30 will remain a staff workshop day.
