Students in a theatre production pose for a cast photo

What do you carry around all day?

The WSHS Theatre Group invites you to attend a performance of “BOXES” at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17 or 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Winona Senior High School Auditorium.

Tickets are only available at the door and are $7 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. After the performance, you are invited to stay and enjoy some improv comedy from the cast and crew.

“BOXES” will also be the group’s entry in the MSHSL One Act Play competition in late January.

“BOXES” by Kendra Thomas explores the real and perceived load that all high school students carry with them daily. Why do friends, family, and teachers load their "boxes” so full? Come watch as they journey toward a better understanding of the things in their boxes.

Performed by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Englewood, Colo.
