The WSHS Theatre Group is pleased to announce they will be performing the musical "Annie" from Nov. 22-24 at the Winona Senior High School Auditorium, 901 Gilmore Ave.
Showtimes are as follows:
- Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m.
The cast is made up of students from the high school, middle school and Bluffview.
This iconic story of the little orphan girl takes you back to the stock market crash of 1929 and the Great Depression of the 1930s. Though this was a difficult time, Annie never loses hope. She dreams of her parents coming back to find her and being part of a family. Annie spreads her positive outlook to the other orphans and all those around her.
Come enjoy this positive and optimistic play filled with familiar songs and the hope of a brighter future for all of your tomorrows.
