WAPS, SEAC to hold virtual Parent Network Night on Feb. 8
Hello families,
Each year Winona Area Public Schools and the Special Education Advisory Council host a Parent Network Night for the parents/guardians of students with disabilities.
This year's event will be a live virtual format, and it will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022.
Parents/guardians can choose one of two online sessions held over Zoom.
- How to give yourself grace and kindness as you navigate a world you didn't know you were going to be in. This discussion, led by Erica Thibodeaux, MS, LPC, will help support caregivers of children with special needs.
- Read & Write for Google Chrome: What is it and how will it help my child? This session, geared toward parents/guardians with students in the third grade and older, is presented by Mindy Reinardy, Transition Coordinator, Physical/Health Disabilities Consultant and Assistive Technology Consultant at WAPS.
To register, please contact Community Education at 507-494-0900 or email linda.jacobs@winona.k12.mn.us. All those who register will receive a Zoom link by Feb. 8.
Thank you,
