Winona Area Public SchoolsWinona Area Public Schools (WAPS) is pleased to announce Mike McArdle as the new Building and Grounds Director.
Mike was most recently at Mayo Clinic Health Systems as their Facilities Operations Supervisor. In this role, he was responsible for budget development and oversight, process evaluation and increasing efficiencies, and management of preventative maintenance efforts. We feel confident that Mike's experience in product and supplier management and detail-oriented skill set will be a great asset to WAPS as we move forward through the upcoming referendum projects. Mike has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional Studies from Winona State University and a Master of Arts Degree in Servant Leadership from Viterbo University.
Mike stated, “I am ecstatic to have been granted the opportunity to serve any and all those associated with Winona Area Public Schools. I look forward to building trusting relationships and learning from each and every individual. I am eager to start a new educational journey."
