W-K teacher featured in NEA Foundation video

Last October, Washington-Kosciusko second-grade teacher Luke Merchlewitz attended the National Education Association’s Keeping the Promise of Public Education Symposium in Washington, D.C. 

Merchlewitz, a NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellow, was invited, along with his wife, Brenda, recently retired as a music teacher at W-K, to the symposium. 

While attending the symposium, Merchlewitz was asked to help with the NEA Foundation’s yearlong 50-year anniversary campaign and record a video.
