Update on spectators at home volleyball games

Update on spectators at home volleyball games

Earlier today, the Minnesota Department of Education changed its guidance for schools to allow for spectators to attend events held indoors.

While this is good news, and we are excited that the families of our athletes will be able to watch them compete, we simply do not have enough time to make sure that we are following all of the various protocols needed to safely allow spectators at tonight’s volleyball game against Rochester John Marshall.

We will have a plan in place to allow spectators for the volleyball games against Mankato East on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Those plans will be developed by Monday at the latest, and that information will be shared with you.

Although you cannot attend tonight’s games, you can still cheer on the Winhawks. All home volleyball and football games will be streamed live on our website

If you have a Smart TV or a streaming device, make sure you check out the WAPS Activities YouTube page to watch the Winhawks on your home TV.
