Spring Fling Barn Dance

Winona Senior High School Orchestra and Strings in Motion present, a Spring Fling Barn Dance, Friday, April 5th in the Goodview Elementary School gym. Join in on the fun with Circle and Reel dances for the whole family from 6:30 -7:30 pm followed by Contra and Square dance for teens and adults from 7:45 - 9:00 pm. Families are invited and string students are encouraged to come down to the Barn Dance. No experience is necessary, all dances will be taught by the nationally known caller, Sue Hulsether. Live music will be provided by Adam Kiesling, Matt Neil, Betsy Neil, Kristen Young and Mike Neil as they drive the dances with traditional Appalachian music.

Students at Winona Area Public Schools have the opportunity to explore strings from violin, cello, bass and more. The Barn Dance allows students to participate in and experience traditional fiddle music and dance along with family and friends. Tickets for this event are $8 for adults and teens and 12 and under are $3. No previous dance experience is required to attend this event. All proceeds go to Winona Area Public Schools Orchestra programs. View Flyer
