Special Education Parent Advisory Council to meet Sept. 19
Special education Advisory Council Meeting 6 p.m. Sept. 19

Winona Area Public Schools is looking for individuals with fresh and diverse perspectives to advocate for children with disabilities in our classrooms, schools and community.

Does your child receive special education services in WAPS? Are you a care partner? Or are you an interested community member?

The Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is looking for people like you. Join the council at its first meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19. The meeting will be virtual: https://waps.pub/seac0919

SEAC advises the Director of Special Education regarding recommendations for current or proposed special education policy, programs or services. By sharing their unique perspective of what it is like to use these services, individuals can help the district to be more effective.
