Hannah Sheridan was one of 13 members of the Minnesota All-State cello selection. She was able to play alongside members of the Minnesota Orchestra on Oct. 19.
Winona Senior High School Orchestra member Hannah Sheridan performed as part of the Minnesota All-State Orchestra in a side-by-side concert with the Minnesota Orchestra, under the direction of Osmo Vänskä, on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis.
For the performance, the All State musicians shared stands with members of the Minnesota Orchestra, performing classic works alongside them, including movements from Brahms' Symphony No. 2 and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 7. Hannah is one of 13 members of the Minnesota All-State cello section this year. She is the daughter of Melanie and Dan Sheridan and a junior at Winona Senior High School.
