Make Someone’s Day Yellow

Make Someone’s Day Yellow

Mrs. Scott’s kindergarten class participated in Make Someone’s Day Yellow were she taught her students about kindness and how it can make a difference! Students all wore yellow and talked about how the color yellow makes them feel. They were each given a carnation to give to a staff member with directions to watch their reaction as well as too note how it made them feel to show kindness. Students made a quick list of ways to show kindness in our everyday lives and encourage everyone to hold a door for someone, carry someone's bag, teach someone a new game or help someone with something they don't know how to do. Students ended their day by making and delivering cards for Mr. Williams, Mrs. Monyhan and Mrs. Bublitz.
