Winona Area Public Schools
Future Winhawks in the Class of 2037 are invited to attend Kindergarten Open House night on Monday, April 1.
Each elementary school will host an open house from 5:30-7 p.m. This includes:
- Goodview Elementary, 5100 W. 9th Street
- Jefferson Elementary, 1268 W. 5th Street
- Washington-Kosciusko Elementary, 365 Mankato Avenue
Families are invited to bring their future kindergartner to tour their new school, meet teachers and support staff and explore a kindergarten classroom. Future Winhawks will also receive a Winhawk goodie bag and officially become part of the WAPS family.
Other activities include a scavenger hunt and a chance to decorate a cookie with the principal. Families can receive information about needed immunizations as well as information about registration. There will not be an opportunity to register at this event, but families are welcome to contact Jami Spitzer at 507-494-0870 or jami.spitzer@winona.k12.mn.us to set up a time to register.
