Host families needed for Rios interns

Host families needed for Rios interns
Rios interns spanish speaking countries

The Rios Spanish Immersion program depends on families in the community to serve as hosts for interns from Spanish speaking countries.

During the school year, the Rios Spanish Immersion program at Jefferson Elementary and the Winona Middle School plays host to cultural interns from Spanish speaking countries.

This intern program depends on families to host these international visitors.

Do you have a spare room in your house?

Would you like to learn more about another culture or language?

We are looking for homestays that could last 3-5 months. You do not need to be a district family; anyone in the Winona community can host.

Host families are expected to provide a private room for the intern, maintain a clean and healthy living environment, provide room and board, transportation to and from school and include the intern in family traditions and outings.

If your family is interested, please fill out this form. A host family is needed for January to March of 2020.
