Co-Winhawks of the week for Oct. 14-18
Austin Mlynczak

Senior Austin Mlynczak is the son of Tracey and Steve Mlynczak of Winona. Austin describes himself as outgoing, athletic and energetic. He lists math and chemistry as his favorite classes. Austin is active in WSHS baseball, basketball and football, and he says that his dad is his role model. Faculty and staff describe Austin as responsible, friendly, hardworking, honest and witty. He is an intelligent young man with a positive attitude, they say. After graduation, Austin plans to attend college in Florida and his advice to students is: “High school is a party”.

Ryka Parsi

 
Senior Ryka Parsi is the daughter of Jelveh Jahangir and Faramarz Parsi of Winona. Parsi describes herself as hardworking, determined, caring, social and a leader. She is active in competitive swimming (WSHS swimming and diving, and Winona Water Wizards), WSHS orchestra (viola), Winona Fiddlers (violin) and is a member of WSHS Tech Nest. Ryka says that her favorite subjects are biology, world history and Spanish. She says that her grandparents and great grandmother are her role models. Faculty and staff describe Ryka as hardworking, friendly, inquisitive, determined and super helpful. She is an outstanding young woman with a fun personality, they say. After gradation Ryka plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a career in the medical field and her advice to students is: “Make sure to work, and enjoy the ride."
