Co-Winhawks of the Week for Nov. 4-8
Keaton Reutzel

Senior Keaton Reutzel is the son of Kevin and Heather Reutzel of Winona. Keaton describes himself as hard working and kind with a good sense of humor. He lists math and science as his favorite subjects. Keaton plays WSHS baseball and enjoys fishing and camping with his family. He says that his grandparents are his role models. Faculty and staff describe Keaton as nice, trustworthy, ambitious, hardworking and polite. He is a good student with a great personality, they say. After graduation Keaton plans to attend a four-year college and earn a degree in engineering, and his advice to students is: “Work hard and have fun.  Enjoy high school because the four years go fast."

Adeline Matthees

Senior Adeline Matthees is the daughter of Amy Gjerdingen of Winona and Paul Matthees of Winona.  Adeline describes herself as creative, extraordinary, spunky and a leader. She lists history, social studies, geography & English as her favorite subjects. Adeline is active with WSHS Theatre, HCO Theatre and the Great River Shakespeare Festival, and she enjoys acting. Adeline says that her role model is Julie Andrews. Faculty and staff describe Adeline as helpful, kind, involved, friendly and polite. She is a leader with a great personality, they say. After graduation Adeline plans to attend college to study fine arts, and her advice to students is: "Don’t worry too much. Everything will work out just fine. Even if things look scary now just know it will be okay."
