Senior Francesca-Rose Meyer is the daughter of Roger and Hariett Meyer of Minnesota City. Francesca describes herself as committed, thoughtful, determined and loyal. She lists social studies as her favorite subject. Francesca has served on the WSHS Student Council, is active on the WSHS Link Crew and enjoys hanging out with friends. She says that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is her role model. Faculty and staff describe Francesca as kind, hardworking, friendly, responsible and reliable. She is a mature young woman who goes above and beyond with everything that she does. After graduation Francesca plans to attend Saint Mary’s University to earn a political science degree. Her advice to students is: “Voice your opinion when you can; you’ll regret it if you don’t."
Senior Zach Bostrack is the son of Nancy Buytendorp of Winona and Paul Bostrack of Winona. Zach describes himself as honest, hardworking and dependable. He lists math and industrial tech classes as his favorite subjects. Zach is active in WSHS boys volleyball and soccer, and he enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding. Zach says that his role models are his father and Elon Musk. Faculty and staff describe Zach as outgoing, resilient, hardworking, reliable and super respectful. He is an intelligent young man with a great sense of humor, they say. After graduation Zach plans to study business at UW-Eau Claire and his advice to students is: “Study hard and enjoy your time in high school."
