Goodview Elementary – Aselin Dennis 3rd Grade
The Goodview Elementary student of the month is Aselin Dennis. Aselin is a 3rd grader in Miss Browne's class. Aselin was nominated by Mr. Morgan for her great work in art. She has been trying really hard in art this year and putting forth amazing effort in her work. She stays focused in art class and helps her peers. Aselin is the daughter of Jennifer Hansen and has two siblings, Ivy and Eve. Congratulations Aselin, we are lucky to have at Goodview Elementary!
Jefferson Elementary – Mary Xiong 3rd Grade
The Jefferson Elementary student of the month is Mary Xiong. Mary is a great teammate in class stations and is always a respectful and responsible learner. During class meeting and activities, Mary always has a big smile on her face when interacting with her peers. Her positive attitude and sweet nature warms everyone’s heart. She has great attendance, is prepared for class and is respectful to teachers and adults in the building. Congratulations Mary, we are lucky to have you at Jefferson Elementary!
Washington-Kosciusko Elementary – Kinley Kugel 1st Grade
The Washington-Kosciusko Elementary student of the month is Kinley Kugel. Kinley is a first grade student in Mrs. Rivers’ classroom. She always comes to school happy and is helpful in and outside of the classroom. Kinley enjoys reading a good book and working on math concepts in her spare time. She is a good friend to her classmates and other peers. Kinley is exceptionally respectful, responsible, and safe. Congratulations Kinley, we are lucky to have you at Washington-Kosciusko Elementary!
Winona Middle School – Lina Adosari 7th Grade
The Winona Middle School student of the month is Lina Adosari. Lina is a 7th grader that is well mannered and very polite. She demonstrates patience and is kind to others. She is respectful to staff and peers. Lina is friendly, inclusive and gets along with everyone. She has a truly caring personality and quiet demeanor. You can always count on Lina to work hard and put great effort into her schooling. Congratulations Lina, we are lucky to have you at Winona Middle School!
Winona Senior High School – Ebony Stewart 9th Grade
The Winona Senior High School student of the month is Ebony Stewart. Ebony is a 9th grade student that is always kind and shows consideration to others. Since the beginning of the year, Ebony has grown greatly here at the high school and is involved in after school activities. She works hard in class and continues to show grade improvement. ALC – Haven Dulek 12th Grade
The Winona Area Learning Center student of the month is Haven Dulek. Haven is a 12th grader that enjoys working at Home and Community Options and the relationships she has built thus far. Her favorite thing about Winona Area Learning Center is the understanding teachers and the strong work ethic it takes to succeed. When she's not at school or working at HCO she enjoys relaxing in a hammock. Her advice to students is to stay on top of your work- procrastination causes unnecessary stress. The staff at WALC say that Haven is hard working, responsible, and is a joy to have in class. Congratulations Haven, we are lucky to have you at Winona Area Learning Center!
