We hope that you are having a safe and relaxing summer! We are looking forward to welcoming our students back for the 2024-25 school year.
As a reminder, this school year will begin one week later than usual to accommodate the geothermal dehumidification projects at Jefferson and Washington-Kosciusko elementary schools.
The first day of school for all students in Grades K-4 as well as our Community KIDS Preschool program will be Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Once again, we will begin the school year with back-to-school conferences. These conferences help build a solid foundation for a successful school year. The conferences will allow for families and their child to meet their new teacher. Teachers will share information and expectations about their classroom and the school, and give families an opportunity to ask questions or share information about their child.
The conferences will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 and 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9. Families will sign up for a 20-minute conference slot with each of their child’s classroom teachers.
Once we have class lists finalized, we will send out another message to let you know who your child’s classroom teacher will be. Once you have that information, you will be able to sign up for a conference time.
We hope to have class lists finalized by Thursday, Aug. 22.
