During the 2020-21 school year, Winona Area Public Schools is committed to feeding its students, no matter if they are attending school in-person or learning from home via distance learning.
UPDATE (9/6/2020): Great news, WAPS families! The School Nutrition department has received additional funding and will be able to provide free meals to all students until Winter Break begins on Thursday, Dec. 24.
In order to make this sustainable, we need all families to fill out a free and reduced lunch application. Funding for schools depends on our free and reduced percentage, and we need to make sure our numbers are accurately reported to the state.
To apply, fill out the form on Infinite Campus or see the section below for more details.
For students in the schools
All elementary and middle school students will eat meals in their classrooms. Teachers will order meals for their classroom a day in advance. School Nutrition staff will prepare the order and deliver breakfast prior to the start of the school day and lunch following the school schedule to the classroom.
Students in the schools as part of Key Kids School Age Care will receive free meals as well.
