We are actively tracking COVID-19 cases among our students and staff and will immediately take action to reduce the potential for spread by asking those who might be at risk to quarantine. We are working in close partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health as well as local public health officials for contact tracing and notifications.
Please see this letter from Winona County Health and Human Services on the importance of adhering to quarantine and isolation procedures.
The table below shows positive cases recently reported at Winona Area Public Schools, as well as a cumulative total since Sept. 8, 2020. The table will be updated at 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays.
In order to maintain data privacy, we are not making the distinction between staff and student positive tests, nor are we publicly reporting the number of positive cases by school building.
Please note that the data below may not include some cases of students or staff who were not at school during the time they were contagious. For example, if a student was in distance learning and did not come to a school building while contagious, they would likely not be reflected in these totals.
