TL21

TL21 stands for “Transforming Learning for the 21st Century”. The Winona Area Public Schools is engaging in this initiative to transform learning and teaching for our students. 1:1 is shorthand for one-to-one. This means there will be one technology learning device for each student to use for learning at both school and home.

The 1:1 learning initiative will promote student engagement and enthusiasm for learning through interactive opportunities and collaboration. In the hands of students and teachers, individual access to technology will set in motion new modes of understanding of the world around us, of accessing information instantaneously, and of connecting with others.
