Winona Area Public Schools requires that all candidates complete an online application for employment for any job opportunities available within the school district. A Resume and Letter of Interest may be required for some of our positions and should be uploaded to the online application system.
The Applicant Tracking system we are currently using does allow you to start an application for employment as well as indicate the jobs for which you might be interested. Applicant Tracking also has an option to be notified by e-mail when a position has opened so you can complete the specific questions related to that application and submit for consideration.
Records retention requires that we keep applications on file for two years. Since our application management system is electronic, these applications may be held longer, however it is the applicants responsibility to retain copies of their supplemental documents in the event the application is purged after the two years.
Substitutes must complete an online application and indicate if they are interested in positions as a substitute educational assistant, substitute teacher and/or both. Substitute teachers must hold a teaching license (or short-call substitute license) issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
Applicants can scan copies of transcripts into the application for consideration in the interview process. Official transcripts are only necessary upon job offer for determining the step and lane of the offer.
