Who is EDI?
EDI has been providing peace of mind to parents of Teen Drivers for over a decade and is the top driving school in SE Minnesota. Not only does EDI raise the bar in education, we also make it fun and interesting for teens. EDI's strength and success in building a new generation of safer driver's falls on our partnership with parents. We strongly encourage all parents to attend the final half of less 10 where we develop a game plan that will start the course to a safe, responsible and educated new driver.
Who can take driver's ed?
You must be 14 and older to take the classroom course. However you cannot take your permit test until you are 15 so we recommend taking the course when you are 15 or close to.

ACT Preparation
Gaining admission to the college of your choice is more difficult than ever. That’s why a high score on the ACT college entrance exam is so important. The ACT is a very unique and challenging test. Knowing what to expect and how to approach each section and type of question can increase scores significantly. This 6-hour ACT preparation workshop is taught by Dr. Milt Dehn, a testing expert who has helped hundreds of students improve their ACT scores. Through hands-on practice, the workshop teaches specific test-taking strategies for each of the five ACT subject tests and the different types of questions found in each section.
The workshop will be held in person at the WSHS Learning Commons from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 and will also be recorded for those unable to attend the live class and for those who wish to review it later. (Please be sure to have a calculator on hand for class.)
The cost of the workshop is $89.
Dr. Dehn highly recommends that students purchase the Barron’s ACT prep book so that they can complete several practice tests at home (on-line practice is insufficient preparation). The book also contains critical review sections on the content of each test section. The cost of the book is $25. If you wish to purchase this optional book, add $25 to your registration fee.
This six-hour workshop emphasizes test-taking strategies and techniques for each of the five ACT subject tests. The workshop content includes:
- ACT facts, scores and challenges
- ACT general test-taking strategies
- Specific methods and strategies for each of the five subject tests
- Dealing with time limits
- A reading method that improves reading scores
- A "rush" reading method
- A brief English grammar review
- Practice with Math questions
- Essay-writing tips
- Strategies and tips for Science Reasoning
- Getting motivated and dealing with test anxiety
