Herky Bus

The Herky Bus is a community outreach vehicle from WAPS Community Education, a versatile "classroom on wheels" that can be used for parenting classes, early chidhood education opportunities, adult education classes, community events, art activities and so much more.

The inside of the bus has been remodeled to include a soft floor perfect for an ECFE circle time activity, electrical outlets to plug in devices, a monitor that can be moved outside if needed and plenty of storage space for toys, games, books and resources for Winhawks of all ages.

The Herky Bus was paid for with a combination of Community Education department reserve funds, as well as ESSER funding targeted for community engagement activities.
