Fall 2023 Programs
ESL Open House
Winona Adult Literacy will be hosting an open house for returning students and any new students. Students will be able to register and get ready for classes. Light refreshments will be provided. Please join at one of the following times:
- Tuesday, Sept. 5, 5-7 p.m., Winona Senior High School, 901 Gilmore Avenue, rooms 203 & 204.
- Wednesday, Sept. 6, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Winona Public Library, 151 W. 5th St., second floor.
ESL Classes
Regular classes will begin on Sept. 7. Here is the regular ESL class schedule:
- AM ESL Intermediate/Advanced (Online): Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
- AM ESL Beginner/Intermediate (Online): Mondays through Thursdays, 8:30-10:30 a.m.
- AM ESL Beginner/Intermediate (In-person): Mondays through Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Winona Public Library, second floor
- PM ESL Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced (In-person): Mondays & Wednesdays, 5-7 p.m., Winona Senior High School, rooms 203 & 204.
GED Classes
Winona Adult Literacy will be starting up its GED services on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Students can choose from the following schedule:
- AM GED: Wednesdays, 9-11 a.m., Maplewood Townhomes-Winona Family Community Center, 1756 Kraemer Drive
- Online GED: Mondays, 6-8 p.m., Minnesota State College Southeast room 313, 1250 Homer Road
